High Expectations As PDP Inaugurates 800-Man Edo North Campaign Council (News In Pictures)

Yesterday, amid high expectations, the PDP inaugurated an 800-member Edo North PDP Senatorial Campaign Council tasked with ensuring victory for all of its candidates in the upcoming general elections.

Hon. Saiki Samuel, the PDP Edo North Senatorial Chairman, has been appointed Chairman of the Senatorial Campaign Council. Hon. Kashietu Ohiwere, former Chairman of Owan West Local Government, was appointed as the campaign council’s Director General (DG), and Dr Caleb Adebayo was appointed as the campaign council’s Deputy DG.

Their primary mandate is to deliver Hon. Paschal Ugbome, the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Edo North, Moses Omo-Ikirodah, the House of Representatives candidate for Etsako Federal Constituency, Emmanuel Agbaje for Akoko-Edo, Patrick Giwa for Owan, and all House of Assembly candidates.

The event, which took place at Ogbona Community in Etsako Central Local Government Area, was a sight to behold. The DG tasked the council members with ensuring that 150,000 votes were cast for its senatorial candidate.

He urged the council members to focus on issues that would contribute to the party’s success in 2023, saying they should be steadfast, committed, and law-abiding throughout the assignment.

The PDP senatorial Candidate, Hon Paschal Ugbome and Etsako House of Reps candidate, Engr Moses Omo-Ikirodah in response thanked the teeming crowd for the presence and begged them to be persistent all through till victory is achieved.
