Hilarious!! Gunmen Get Surprise Package As They Invade A School In Kaduna (Must Read)

Pupils and teachers of Government Secondary School (GSS), Ungwar Sarki, Kaduna State has been said to have scampered for safety as masked gunmen in unmarked vehicles invaded the school.

Sunday Independent learned that the school which is popularly known as “black and white” were writing the National Examination Council of Nigeria (NECO) final year examinations when the incident occurred.

According to an electronic media who reported the incident said, the incident was said to have caused pandemonium as the students and teachers scampered safety in the fear that the gunmen were kidnappers.

It was revealed that passers-by and motorists, in confusion, took unusual routes to escape the gunmen as many were screaming kidnappers.

The said gunmen according to the Principal of the school, Hajiya Bilkisu Aliyu, were said to have trailed the NECO Supervisor in her car from a Commercial Bank along Alkali road, close to the Murtala Mohammed Square where she fetched the examination question papers and answer sheets to deliver to the school premises.

Unknown to the gunmen who thought it was money, they demanded she hands over the bulk of the wrapped papers to them and threatened to shoot her.

Trembling and shouting it was not money, they snatched the papers and disappeared into thin air as the students and teachers scampered in different directions to escape.

Independent gathered that parents, apprehensive of the rumoured kidnapping of their children, trooped into the school and the Principal had a herculean task controlling and explaining to them the real situation.

The NECO staff was said to have mopped up papers from their office and other examination centres to ensure the examination went unhindered.

The school was said to have received a threat letter from kidnappers in the past which led to its closure for some time before it was reopened for academic activities.

Efforts to speak to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mohammed Jalige was not possible as his line was unreachable.
