I Grew Up Fine Without Him” – Priscilla Ojo Shares Emotional Story
According to Ireporter Online, Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has opened up about her childhood and the dynamics of her upbringing following the separation of her parents.
During a conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Priscilla disclosed that her parents parted ways when she was still very young, noting that despite the separation, she never experienced a sense of emotional lack while growing up. She explained that her mother assumed full responsibility for her and her brother, effectively playing both parental roles and ensuring they were well cared for.
She added that the absence of her father figure did not negatively impact her upbringing, as she received adequate love, support, and stability at home. “My parents fell out of love and my mom played the role of both parents very well, I didn’t feel like a father figure was missing,” she said.
Priscilla is the daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo and film marketer Ademidun Ojo, whose relationship ended while their children were still young. Her elder brother, Festus Ojo, was born in 1999, while Priscilla, born in 2001, is the second child and only daughter. She has since grown into a public figure, establishing herself in the entertainment industry as an actress and social media influencer.
