Jaye Lo: Davido’s Manager Sends Strong Message To Muslim Community

Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel Afeare, commonly known as Israel DMW, has issued an apology to the Muslim community concerning the controversial video posted by his boss.

As a reminder, Davido faced criticism after sharing a music video of his signee, Logos Olori’s new song titled ‘Jaye Lo,’ which depicted people praying in an Islamic manner and dancing in a mosque.

In response to the public backlash, Davido eventually deleted the contentious video from his social media pages. However, the Muslim community still demanded a public apology from him.

Addressing the situation, Israel DMW took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to apologize on behalf of Davido. He appealed to Muslims, explaining that the video was meant purely for entertainment purposes but was incorrectly presented.

In his statement, he said, “Let me specially apologize to my Muslim brothers and sisters for the video my boss posted. It was solely an effort to promote someone, which is one of his interests. It was purely intended for entertainment and was presented wrongly. Please, forgive us. Love you all.”
