JUST IN: Minister, Sadiya Umar’s Political Adviser Resigns (Details)

The Special Adviser on Political Affairs to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Musa Zubairu Nasarawar Mailayi has resigned.

According to a press statement he signed personally, Hon. Zubairu, who was the state Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during former Governor Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi administration between 2007-2011 said he resigned his appointment to enable him to concentrate on his other personal engagements.

He thanked the Minister for considering him worthy of appointment in that capacity, and promised to continue to offer brotherly advice to the Minister when the need arises.

Zurberu, who was the former Chief of Staff to former Governor Mahamuda Aliyu Shinkafi, said he was set to formally join the political bandwagon of former Governor of Zamfara, Abdulazeez Yari Abubkar who is leading a faction of the APC in Zamfara State.
