JUST IN: Peter Obi Tells Supporters What To Do Amid Moves To ‘Reclaim Mandate’

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has urged his supporters across the country to remain calm as the fight to reclaim the mandate given to him continues.

Obi, who spoke to LP candidates in Anambra State on Friday, said he was on a thank-you tour and that people who voted for him in the February 25 election voted for hope because he has everything it takes to fix the country.

He congratulated the party’s new National Assembly members.

The former Anambra governor urged state assembly candidates to vote in a well-organized manner, while also requesting that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announce the outstanding Ogbaru Federal Constituency election result.

Members of the party’s national leadership and Anambra State executive members, as well as several National Assembly members-elect and state assembly candidates, accompanied Obi on the tour.

The meeting came after a trip to Enugu to express condolences to the family of the late Oyibo Chukwu, Enugu-East LP senatorial candidate, and Abia State.
