In an interview with Silverbird TV, Aloba revealed that the family initiated the private investigation following dissatisfaction with the inconclusive results from the Lagos State Government. He explained that legal processes are delaying the release of the findings.

“The coroner’s inquest has been delayed. I appeal to the Lagos State Government to reopen it. While we have conducted a private autopsy, the results cannot be disclosed until the coroner is reopened. Even I have not seen the results yet,” he said.

He further clarified that the court’s order mandates the presentation of the results within legal proceedings. “I paid for the autopsy, but the results cannot be presented outside of the court. Until the inquest resumes, everything is stalled,” Aloba added.

The family’s pursuit of an independent autopsy followed their rejection of the state investigation, citing inconclusive findings. While permission for the private autopsy was granted by the Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, the ongoing delays in reopening the inquest have hampered progress.

Expressing his frustration, Aloba criticized the extended delays, stating, “Delays often lead to denial. While I appreciate those assisting in the case, I am dissatisfied with how things are progressing.”

The case remains a focal point of public interest, with fans and stakeholders urging for transparency and swift resolution.
