Kidnappers Allegedly Abduct Eight, Including Village Head And Grandchildren, in Abuja

According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen, dressed in military uniforms, stormed the village, forcefully entering homes and taking victims, including a man named Nicholas, who had just returned from the hospital after his wife gave birth. The attackers operated for about 30 minutes before escaping, shooting sporadically to deter security forces.

The spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, has acknowledged the incident and promised further details. The Bwari area has been a hotspot for kidnappings and terrorist attacks, raising concerns over security in Nigeria’s capital.
