According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has made it clear that she no longer wishes to be identified by the surname of her former husband, Idibia.

The actress was reportedly out at a nightlife spot when the club’s LED screen introduced her as Annie Idibia. She immediately noticed the error and requested that her name be corrected to Annie Macaulay. Annie later shared clips of the incident on her Instagram Stories, using the moment to reaffirm her decision to return fully to her maiden name.

In one of the posts, she stressed that she no longer answers to the Idibia name, stating clearly that she prefers to be addressed as Annie Macaulay. A subsequent video showed the club’s screen updated with her correct name, a change that visibly pleased the actress as she acknowledged that the correction was accurate.

Meanwhile, Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has opened up about her personal experiences with relationships. Speaking during an interview with Korty EO, the award-winning artist revealed that she has only had one truly positive relationship in her life.

Tiwa, who is a mother of one, disclosed that the relationship ended tragically following the death of her partner. She explained that aside from her late lover, her past relationships have largely been disappointing. The singer described her late partner as an exceptional person and expressed heartfelt respect for his memory, noting that he remains the only relationship she looks back on fondly.
