Mr Eazi Opens Up On Failed £40k Investment That Strained Family Ties
According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has recounted a challenging early business experience that strained his relationship with a close family member after a financial deal went wrong.
He disclosed that he once secured a £40,000 loan from his uncle to launch a business venture, which unfortunately failed. The situation, he said, later escalated when his uncle began demanding repayment and involved his parents in the matter, a development that left him deeply embarrassed.
Speaking on the incident, Mr Eazi noted that the fallout placed him in an uncomfortable position within the family, eventually leading to his father stepping in to settle the debt.
He further expressed frustration over how the issue was handled, particularly the decision to escalate it to his parents. According to him, the experience prompted a tense exchange with his uncle and his uncle’s wife, during which he voiced his disappointment and confidence in his future success.
The singer added that the episode became a defining moment in his personal and financial growth, shaping his perspective on money management, accountability, and long-term success in business.
