According to Ireporter Online, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has urged all eligible Nigerians who are yet to register as voters to take advantage of the remaining days of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise before it officially closes on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

In a public notice shared through its official X account on Saturday, the electoral body reminded prospective voters that there is still time to complete the registration process ahead of the deadline.

INEC stated that eligible applicants can conveniently register online through its dedicated Continuous Voter Registration portal or visit any of its approved registration centres nationwide for physical assistance.

The commission stressed that Nigerians requiring in-person support can access services at its state offices, local government area offices and other designated registration centres across the country.

To ensure wider participation, INEC disclosed that all registration centres will remain operational daily, including weekends, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the exercise comes to an end.

Reaffirming the importance of the exercise, the commission encouraged citizens not to delay their registration, emphasising that timely participation will ensure they are eligible to vote in future elections.
