SP Dungus Abdulkarim, the robbery occurred on Monday night and resulted in seven fatalities and eleven injuries. The perpetrators, a group of six armed robbers, looted approximately ₦16.5 million during the attack.

Three of the robbers were neutralized by enraged locals, while the remaining suspects fled with injuries. A locally-made pistol and three cartridges were recovered from the arrested suspect.

Victims and casualties were transported to Fika General Hospital for medical attention and autopsies.

The state Commissioner of Police, Garba Ahmed, has ordered an immediate investigation into the attack and urged residents to maintain calm while assisting authorities with credible information to apprehend the remaining suspects.
