Young people learn to make connections as they grow and develop in order to understand how the world works. Most top-level athletes are discovered in their youth, and the majority of them are discovered as a result of their participation in a community sports club.

Sport promotes a sense of community, belonging, and inclusion. It also fosters a sense of community pride in us.

Engr Moses Omo-Ikirodah, the amiable PDP candidate for Etsako Federal constituency in the upcoming elections, has once again demonstrated his love for community sports as a tool for developing the next generation of leaders.

The legislative aspirant was spotted at the closing ceremony of the annual Ibie Sports Festival held in IMIEGBA, Estako East LGA, where he once again advised youths on the benefits of being good sportsmen.

Football, volleyball, and table tennis were among the sports featured at the third edition of the event. Moses Omo-Ikirodah kicked off the event.

Increasing children’s well-being during this time period can benefit your community’s future because children who participate in such activities are better adjusted as they enter adulthood, with a wealth of life skills and lessons under their belts.

We should remember that community sports provide the following benefits to everyone: it provides our youth with skills and qualities, it fosters tenacity, teamwork, and discipline, and it opens doors for all of us.
