My Dad Isn’t Happy With My Celebration Against Australia But …… – Oshoala Makes Revelation
Asisat Oshoala has revealed that her father expressed dissatisfaction with her celebration after scoring in Nigeria’s 2-3 victory over Australia at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
The Super Falcons’ player netted the team’s third goal, extending Nigeria’s lead in the Group B match, and during her celebration, she removed her shirt.
This action has sparked discussions among football fans, with some seeing no problem with it, while others disapprove. Asisat Oshoala mentioned that her father falls into the latter category, sharing his disapproval of her celebration.
“My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, life is a collection of MOMENTS,” the African Woman Footballer of the Year said in an Instagram post wherein she attached photos of the goal celebration.
