Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, the newly appointed Head of Civil Service of the Federation, has pledged her unwavering commitment to advancing the goals of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. In a recent private meeting at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, Walson-Jack expressed her dedication, stating, “I see it as a divine assignment, and I had the opportunity to assure Mr. President that, by the grace of God, I will not disappoint him.”

Accompanied by her predecessor, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, Walson-Jack emphasized her determination to work closely with permanent secretaries, directors, and the entire civil service. She is committed to effectively implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda and vowed, “We are ready to defend the promises of this administration and the dreams of our nation, even with the last drop of our blood.”

Dr. Yemi-Esan praised the seamless transition, noting that Walson-Jack had dedicated several weeks to understanding the complexities of her new role. She expressed confidence in her successor’s abilities, describing her as “capable, very intelligent, hardworking, professional, and empathetic.” Yemi-Esan believes that Walson-Jack’s preparedness will enable her to “hit the ground running” and achieve the President’s objectives for the civil service.
