According to reports, Nigerian Breweries Plc has officially launched its 2025 Christmas campaign, titled “A Legendary Christmas,” marking the beginning of this year’s Detty December celebrations.

The event, held at Nomaada Lagos, showcased the brewery’s plans to elevate the festive season, now valued at over ₦100 billion, through one of the largest coordinated festive lighting initiatives in Nigeria. The campaign will illuminate six cities and seven landmark sites, spanning more than 13 kilometres of street networks.

Nigerian Breweries will also engage seven of its flagship brands—Maltina, Amstel Malta, Heineken, Desperados, Life Beer, Goldberg, and Legend—in delivering unique December experiences. Among these are the return of regional Beer Villages, designed as hubs for entertainment, food, and cultural activities.

Speaking at the unveiling, Marketing Director Sarah Agha described the initiative as a commitment to enriching the festive spirit. “Every December, Nigeria transforms into something extraordinary. What began as a local year-end celebration has evolved into a global cultural export. This year, we are creating experiences across the country that capture the joy, creativity, and togetherness that make this season special,” she said.
