Nollywood Actress Juliana Olayode Bags Degree In Therapy, Celebrates Academic Milestone

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian actress Juliana Olayode has announced that she is now a certified professional therapist and counsellor following the completion of formal training in therapy.

The actress, popularly known for her role as Toyo Baby, revealed that counselling has always come naturally to her, adding that she finds deep fulfilment in helping people heal, grow, and experience transformation. She explained that her decision to pursue professional certification was driven by a desire to go beyond personal experience and self-taught knowledge, and to be properly equipped to support others effectively.

Olayode further disclosed that her passion for therapy was shaped by her own difficult and traumatic experiences, which gave her a deeper understanding of emotional pain and hidden struggles people often face despite appearing fine on the outside.

She noted that the academic journey was challenging, as she had to balance studies with work and other responsibilities, and at some point considered giving up. However, she credited her family, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, tutors, classmates, and other supporters for encouraging her throughout the process.

Describing the experience as both demanding and transformative, she said the journey not only equipped her with professional tools to help others but also contributed to her own personal healing. She expressed gratitude to God for seeing her through and officially qualifying her as a therapist and counsellor.
