Ogun Government Acts: Teacher Suspended After Student Dies From Brutal 162 Frog Jump Punishment

The punishment was ordered by the school’s principal after Arijo commented on school funds used for a dustbin purchase.

In a statement on Sunday via its official social media, the Ogun State Government announced Elijah’s suspension and confirmed that the school principal has been issued a query.

The government expressed condolences to Arijo’s family, describing him as an exceptional student. The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology emphasized that it will seek justice for the family and uphold state policies against corporal punishment in schools.
