The spokesperson for the residents, addressing the media, implored both the Federal and State Governments to provide essential supplies such as healthcare, food, and shelter. He revealed that the men, women, and children who fled the community are currently lacking access to basic necessities, including water, food, and medical attention.

Furthermore, he shared that some of the displaced residents have fallen ill, while others have suffered snake bites while taking refuge in the forest.
