and demanding a N50 million ransom from his employer. Amotekun Commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, revealed that two other suspects were also apprehended in connection with the crime. Gende was captured at his work post in Edo and taken to a hideout in Ondo’s southern district. His accomplice, a 19-year-old security guard, reportedly provided shelter for Gende, unaware of the plot’s full extent.
