OPM Pastor Halts Daughter’s Marriage Plans Following 1,000 Applications

According to IReporter Online, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has suspended the planned marriage arrangements for his 21-year-old adopted autistic daughter, Chiemeka Chibuzor, after receiving more than 1,000 applications from interested suitors.

In a Facebook post, the cleric announced that the wedding would no longer proceed for now, stating that it would remain on hold pending further directive from him.

“Chiemeka Chibuzor’s wedding is hereby suspended. More than a thousand applications. No more wedding, pending further directive from me, HRM King, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere,” he wrote.

The development comes just two days after Apostle Chinyere publicly outlined incentives and welfare assurances for any eligible man willing to marry her. The conditions included that suitors must be young, physically and mentally fit, and capable of providing care and support.

He further promised extensive benefits, including lifetime financial assistance, free accommodation, joint ownership of a built property for both spouses, and periodic unannounced visits by OPM representatives to ensure her well-being.

This latest decision follows a similar initiative in March, when the cleric facilitated the marriage of a non-verbal autistic man, identified as Aboy, to an older woman during a ceremony held on March 29.
