Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has addressed recent reports linking him with a possible move to Italian giants Juventus.

Speaking in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb on Friday, Osimhen played down the transfer rumors, emphasizing his focus on the present moment and his appreciation for the support he has received.

“There are always rumours about me, but I prefer to focus on the present,” Osimhen said. “Right now, I’m enjoying every moment. The support from the fans has been overwhelming—not just for me, but for my teammates and my family. When the time comes, the right decision will be made for everyone involved. Regardless of what happens, Galatasaray will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Osimhen’s latest goal against Samsunspor on Friday marked his 17th of the calendar year, placing him in joint-third among Europe’s top scorers in 2025 alongside Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres. He currently leads Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (14 goals) and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy (13 goals), trailing only PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé (24 goals) and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe (19 goals).

His goal came during a pivotal Turkish Super Lig match at Samsun 19 Mayıs Stadium, where Galatasaray aimed to maintain their lead at the top of the table following a recent derby defeat to Besiktas.
