In an interview on the ‘Oro Oselu’ program aired on Rave FM, Yusuff acknowledged Aregbesola’s previous contributions to the political struggle but emphasized that collective leadership had propelled him to the governorship. He suggested that Aregbesola might face challenges in regaining political prominence in the state.

Yusuff, who shared a two-minute, 38-second video of the interview on social media, affirmed his admiration for Aregbesola as a political associate and friend but questioned the feasibility of Aregbesola leading the state’s political system again. While acknowledging Aregbesola’s past opposition to his political ambitions, Yusuff maintained that dynamics had changed, and Aregbesola’s return might be challenging.

In response, Aregbesola’s Media Adviser, Sola Fasure, highlighted Yusuff’s political oscillations, moving between APC, PDP, and Labour Party.
