- 774 National Health Fellows will be deployed to monitor Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across the 774 local government areas in Nigeria.
- The initiative is part of the Federal Ministry of Health’s efforts to address systemic healthcare challenges.
- Professor Ali Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, commended the selection process, which involved over 360,000 applicants, ensuring only the best candidates were chosen.
