PSC Announces: Shortlisted Candidates Invited For CBT In Police Recruitment Drive

Scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 5th and 6th, 2024, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the CBT marks a crucial stage in the ongoing recruitment process.
In a statement by spokesman Ikechukwu Ani, the Commission reaffirmed its commitment to merit-based selection, ensuring fairness and adherence to Federal Character Commission guidelines for equal representation.
Successful candidates are urged to confirm their status and access their CBT details on the recruitment portal apply.policerecruitment.gov. They must bring their CBT slip generated from the portal, containing specific instructions for the test.
Dr. Solomon Arase, Chairman of the Commission and former Inspector General of Police, commended the Recruitment Board for their dedication to this national endeavor. He emphasized the importance of bolstering police manpower to combat crime and reclaim ungoverned territories across the nation.
While expressing optimism in the fight against insurgency, Dr. Arase called for collective support from all Nigerians, emphasizing that security is a shared responsibility.
Furthermore, the Commission announced that 43,778 successful applicants from the specialist cadre will undergo practical tests, with the date to be announced soon.
The commencement of the CBT signals a pivotal moment in the quest to enhance Nigeria’s security apparatus, with the PSC committed to recruiting capable individuals to safeguard the nation and its citizens.
