Speaking at the 148th Session of the IPU Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, Akpabio underscored the importance of prioritizing humanitarian aid and restoring normalcy to Gaza. He urged nations to set aside political differences and prioritize humanity in finding a sustainable solution to the crisis.
