Seyi Law Says Nigeria Safer Now Than A Decade Ago – See Why

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has stated that the country is safer today compared to a decade ago. Speaking on the Honest Bunch podcast, he attributed the improvement in security to the administration of President Bola Tinubu, highlighting that more criminal elements, including bandits, have been apprehended or neutralised under the current government than during the administrations of Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari.

Seyi Law further observed that incidents such as bomb attacks have become less frequent and that overall violent activities have declined in recent years. He also noted progress in the economy, asserting that citizens now enjoy better protection and improved economic conditions than they did ten years ago. “Nigeria is safer now than 10 years ago. This government has killed more bandits since Jonathan’s. When have you last heard of a bomb blast? It is not today that they have been kidnapping people in their houses. Nigeria’s economy is better than Tinubu met it,” he said.

In a separate incident, Nigerian businessman and socialite Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, expressed frustration after his new car was destroyed by Nigerian streamer Carter Efe during a stunt with fellow streamer Peller. According to Ireporter Online, the incident occurred on Saturday following a heated clash between Carter Efe and Peller during a TikTok live session. A video circulating online showed both men attacking each other’s vehicles and breaking windshields with stones.
