Sh*ck Confession: Kate Henshaw Speaks On Alleged Fallout With Genevieve

According to Ireporter Online, veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has spoken about the gradual change in her once-close relationship with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji, noting that their bond, which was previously very strong in the Nigerian film industry, faded over time without a clearly defined reason.

Henshaw made the remarks during a recent appearance on the Tea with Tay podcast, where she reflected on how they were once frequently seen together and widely regarded as close friends. She explained that while their friendship was evident in earlier years, it did not remain the same as time passed and eventually drifted apart.

She disclosed that the separation between them happened gradually and without a specific incident she could identify, adding that she still does not fully understand what caused the distance. According to her, there may have been issues relating to trust, but she cannot state this with certainty.

The actress also noted that people often expect clear explanations when relationships change, but in her case, there was no definite answer. She maintained that the shift in their friendship was subtle and left her with unanswered questions rather than clarity.

“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her,” she was quoted as saying.
