Sani also urged northern leaders to take responsibility for the region’s development, pointing out that they’ve benefitted from past investments and should now contribute to addressing regional challenges. He warned against using the tax reforms as a political tool in the 2027 re-election bid, emphasizing that the North has no reason to resist progress.
