Stella Oduah, Ex-Aide, Others Arraigned Over Alleged N5bn Fraud
Former Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah, her former aide, Gloria Odita, and seven others have been brought before Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja to face charges related to fraud.
They are accused of committing various offenses, including conspiracy, money laundering, and maintaining anonymous bank accounts with First Bank Plc, involving a sum of approximately N5 billion.

Upon entering their pleas, Justice Ekwo directed that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) take over the case.
He instructed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to transfer the case file to the AGF within two weeks.
While maintaining the existing administrative bail conditions set by the EFCC, the court also ordered that these conditions be made available to the AGF. The trial is scheduled to commence on October 17, 2023.
