According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has dismissed the recent apology and temporary withdrawal from pastoral duties announced by Pastor Chris Okafor, insisting that such actions fall short of addressing her long-standing allegations against him.

The actress reacted after the founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry revealed during a church service that he would be stepping aside from leading services throughout January, handing over responsibilities to other ministers while he focuses on prayers, rest, and family time. In a circulating video, the cleric explained that he and his wife had not taken a break since their marriage, necessitating the brief period away from the pulpit.

Ogala, who has repeatedly spoken out over the matter, maintained that the pastor’s decision to take a leave of absence does not resolve the serious concerns she has raised, particularly those surrounding the controversial death of her younger brother. She stressed that the situation goes beyond public apologies or temporary absences from church activities.

In a video statement, the actress expressed frustration over public calls for forgiveness, stating that forgiveness cannot replace truth or justice. She challenged Pastor Okafor to openly explain what transpired, including the circumstances leading to her brother’s death, which she described as suspicious.

Ogala further declared that she possesses evidence to substantiate her claims and is prepared to make them public. She said the pain she has endured cannot be healed by apologies or financial compensation and vowed to pursue answers regardless of public pressure.

The actress warned that the pastor’s brief withdrawal from ministerial duties would not bring closure, emphasizing her determination to expose what she described as hidden facts behind the tragedy. She concluded by stating that her actions mark only the beginning of a prolonged quest for accountability and clarity over her brother’s death.
