In a historic move, the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has officially thrown its weight behind Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa for the Edo governorship race.
In a dazzling event held in the heart of Benin City, NANS President Comrade Lucky Emonefe, representing over 40 million Nigerian students, endorsed the APC candidates. “On behalf of millions of students across Nigeria, we proudly back Senator Okpebholo for his remarkable contributions to youth education in Edo and beyond,” Emonefe proclaimed.
The endorsement ceremony, marked by the presentation of a certificate and custom T-shirts, was a grand spectacle. Okpebholo, visibly moved, vowed to uphold the trust placed in him and promised transformative governance for Edo State.
This endorsement is set to significantly alter the political landscape of Edo, as students rally behind the APC ticket, energizing the campaign of Okpebholo and Idahosa.
