Team New Nigeria Unveils Logo, Seeks INEC Registration

Team New Nigeria (TNN), a newly formed political party in Nigeria, has officially unveiled its acronym, logo, slogan, and motto, as it works towards obtaining registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement, TNN spokesperson Dr. Mohammed Adah Shaibu announced that the party’s National Executive Committee and Board of Trustees had unanimously approved these key identifiers….READ MORE….

He stated, “With this significant achievement, the journey toward a new Nigeria, reflective of our collective aspirations, has officially begun.”

The party’s acronym is TNN, its slogan is Greater Nigeria, and its motto is Unite and Rebuild the Nation. Dr. Shaibu also revealed that TNN’s Constitution and Manifesto will be unveiled in April 2025 at the National Conference in Abuja, where the party’s formal establishment will be announced.

TNN President, Modibbo Yakubun Farakwai, emphasized that the party has diligently met all INEC requirements for recognition as a political party.

To support this effort, several committees have been established, including:

• Legal and Constitutional Compliance Committee – Prof. Muhammad Zakari Yaro (Chairman)

• Political Management Committee – Prof. Silva Opuala-Charles (Chairman)

• Contact and Mobilization Committee – Alhaji Omar Yusuf Aiyelabegan (Chairman)

• Finance Committee – Dr. Adebayo Akin-Omotuyi (Chairman)

• Publicity Committee – Dr. Mohammed Adah Shaibu (Chairman)

• Structure Committee – Prof. Iheanacho Agboti (Chairman)

• Conference Committee – Prof. Waziri Garba Dahiru (Chairman)

• Membership Registration and Harmonization Committee – Sen. Ibrahim Muhammad (Chairman)

“The purpose of these committees is to ensure TNN’s successful registration, and they have effectively completed their tasks,” the statement concluded.
