Farooq Kperogi, which criticized President Tinubu for allegedly favoring his ethnic group in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

In the article titled “Tinubu’s Buharisation of the NNPC,” Kperogi called out the president for perpetuating a “Yorubacentric takeover” similar to what occurred under former President Buhari’s administration. El-Rufai responded to the criticism by emphasizing the importance of inclusive governance, stating that “Two wrongs do not make a right” and that sensible inclusion trumps exclusion.
