He attributed recent economic growth to the policies of the current administration and pledged that Nigerians will begin to thrive in the coming months. “I’m optimistic about the future. We have turned a corner, and with God’s grace, robust economic activities will unfold this year,” he said.

Shettima acknowledged the global challenges impacting Nigeria, particularly the war in Ukraine, but remained confident that the government, in collaboration with the National Assembly, would find effective solutions to national issues.

“We’re working closely with the National Assembly to tackle our challenges. No country is immune to global economic shifts, but we are confident that Nigeria is now on a trajectory of sustainable growth. By God’s will, the best is yet to come,” he stated.

The Vice President concluded by expressing hope for a prosperous 2025, wishing all Nigerians well as the country moves towards a brighter future.
