Toyin Abraham Drops Vibrant Trailer For Oversabi Aunty, Sparks Nationwide Buzz
According to Ireporter Online, award-winning Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has unveiled the official trailer for her forthcoming film, Oversabi Aunty, a production built around themes of family bonds, humour, and relatable life experiences. The film, which is scheduled to debut in cinemas on December 19, is expected to connect strongly with viewers through its engaging storyline and comedic depth.
Abraham, while sharing the trailer, described the project as one packed with “big comedy, family drama, loud laughter, and real-life lessons,” noting that the character at the centre of the story is one who “has a solution for everyone.” She confirmed that Oversabi Aunty will screen nationwide from December 18, 2025, with her serving as director and Filmoneng handling distribution.
The movie’s title reportedly originated from a viral moment at Priscilla Ojo’s wedding, where Abraham’s dramatic display earned her the widely circulated nickname “Oversabi Aunty.” The film features an impressive line-up of actors, including Tana Adelana, Mike Ezuruonye, and several other prominent stars. Its official premiere is set for December 14, ahead of its nationwide cinema release.
