Eyewitnesses reported that the kidnappers, masked and heavily armed, intercepted her Lexus SUV, forcibly dragged her out, and escaped through swampy terrain to an unknown location.

The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the abduction, with spokesperson CSP Omolola Odutola stating that operatives have been deployed for her rescue. “The Divisional Police Officer and local security forces are combing the area with support from digital intelligence operations to ensure her safe recovery,” she said.

The family of the retired AIG has not yet commented on the incident. Meanwhile, the community remains on edge as authorities work to address the security concerns raised by this high-profile kidnapping.

Hakeem Odumosu, a respected police officer known for his crime-fighting initiatives in Lagos and beyond, retired after a distinguished career that spanned various leadership roles, including serving as Commissioner of Police in multiple states.
