“Vee Iye Vows: ‘I Will Never Get Pregnant For The Wrong Man’”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and actress Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, has revealed that one of her primary life goals is to avoid having a child with the wrong partner. In a video shared on her Instagram page, Vee explained that navigating relationships in Lagos can be challenging, which has made her particularly cautious about the type of relationships she engages in.

According to Vee, she is determined not to end up with a baby father who might speak negatively about her in the future. She emphasized that she knows herself well and consciously avoids situations that could negatively impact her mental health.

Vee acknowledged that her careful approach to relationships can make finding true love more difficult, but she believes it is better to be cautious than to face regret. While admitting that it is impossible to know a partner completely before committing, she insists that making thoughtful and informed choices is essential.

She also noted that learning from other people’s experiences, especially those shared online, helps her avoid mistakes without having to endure them firsthand. Vee said:

“It is my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant. This is not to suggest I am better than women who have found themselves in that position. It’s simply because I know myself and aim to avoid situations that could harm my mental well-being. I’m passionate about not being taken advantage of, and perhaps that sometimes makes it harder to find unapologetic love. I’m stubborn and strong-willed, but not foolish. When choosing a life partner, I strive to get it right. You can’t know someone completely, but you can try your best. People’s experiences are the best teachers, and with the internet, you can learn from others without going through it yourself.”
