Nigeria’s Flamingos have advanced to the final round of the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after a dominant 5-1 aggregate win over South Africa.

The forward brilliantly lobbed the ball over South African goalkeeper Samekelise Mthembu, sealing the win for Nigeria.

Despite the efforts of South Africa’s Bantwana team, including standout performances from Zoe October, Thoriso Mphelo, and captain Katleho Malebana, they struggled to break through Nigeria’s solid defense. The backline, led by Hannah Ibrahim, Jumai Adebayo, Philomena Isaiah, and Favour Iheagwam, ensured the Flamingos maintained control throughout the match.
