The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has touched down in New York in preparation for the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78).

She received a warm welcome from Prof. Tijjani Bande, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

During her stay, Senator Tinubu is set to address various significant events, including the Nigeria Economic Trade Summit, the Africa First Ladies Peace Mission side meeting on Gender Actions for Peace, and engagements with organizations like the DUSUSU Foundation, among other high-profile gatherings.

En route to New York, the First Lady made a brief stop at the Madeira International Airport in Portugal, where she had a meeting with Nigeria’s Ambassador to Portugal, Alex Kefas.
