Why Didn’t You Tell Me?” – Tonto Dikeh Opens Up On Emotional Moment With Her Son
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has opened up about a heartfelt conversation with her son, King Andre, regarding her past with ex-husband Olakunle Churchill, revealing how the young boy played a role in ending their long-standing feud.
According to Ireporter Online, the actress and Churchill recently reconciled, putting an end to years of public disputes. Speaking during her testimony session at Streams of Joy International, Tonto shared that when her son asked if she had forgiven his father, she hesitated to answer. King Andre responded by saying that if she had forgiven him, he had also forgiven her, though he expressed being upset that she had not shared the truth sooner.
Tonto credited her son’s sincere prayers for the breakthrough, explaining that one of his prayer requests was for the release of his international passport, which had been in the custody of his father. She recalled, “I am a beneficiary of a sincere prayer of a 10-year-old. During the 21-day fast, I saw his prayer points, and he prayed for his passport to be released. Two days later, his father contacted me to provide all necessary documents, which led to a meaningful conversation with my son about his father.”
The actress described the emotional moment with her son as transformative, noting how it dissolved years of bitterness and anger. She emphasised the significance of forgiveness and personal change, stating, “The biggest testimony in life is the testimony of a changed person, because I have peace that doesn’t even make sense. God gave me 10 years in one day.”
