Why I Want My Wife And I To Die Same Day – Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has expressed his desire to die on the same day as his wife, Foluke Adeboye.

He shared this sentiment in a post celebrating his wife’s 75th birthday.

Adeboye considers his wife to be the greatest blessing in his life, alongside his salvation and baptism in the Holy Spirit.

He issued a warning that anyone who dares to harm his wife will face divine retribution. He also praised her compassion, generosity, and care for others.

The couple has special endearing names for each other, and Adeboye expressed his wish for both of them to be taken home together when their time comes. He invited everyone to join him in celebrating his beloved wife and to joyfully shout “Hallelujah” in her honor.

Adeboye shared in one of his books the story of how he met his wife. He considered their meeting to be a divine appointment. Despite being in other relationships at the time, receiving a birthday gift from his wife-to-be made him realize that she was the woman he would marry. They got married on September 8, 1967, at a young age, and their courtship faced challenges due to the strictness of her father, a minister in the Methodist Church.

Their wedding was simple but beautiful, reflecting their financial situation at the time. Adeboye expressed gratitude for his wife and the good examples set by her father, which aligned with biblical principles.
