See The Kind Of Appointment Niger State Governor Gave 131 Women

Umar Bago, the Governor of Niger State, has selected and designated 131 women to serve as coordinators and senior special assistants (SSAs) within the state administration.

According to a statement released on Saturday by Abubakar Usman, the Secretary to the State Governor, these appointments aim to fulfill the Governor’s campaign commitment to including women in key roles within his government.

Usman clarified that the selection process was based on merit, established qualifications, personal integrity, and a track record of exceptional performance in previous roles.

The appointments comprise 41 coordinators and 90 senior special assistants (SSAs).

Governor Bago had previously expressed his intention to allocate approximately 100 political positions to women within his administration. He emphasized the importance of women’s participation in various initiatives and desks focused on affirmative actions and gender-related concerns.
