Kunle Fawole: “I No Longer Love Yvonne Jegede, But I’d Still Go To Any Length For Her

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actor Kunle Abounce Fawole has revealed that he no longer harbours romantic feelings for his ex-wife, actress Yvonne Jegede, although he maintains that his respect for her remains intact and he would go to great lengths to protect her if the need arises.

Fawole made the disclosure during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where he reflected on the end of their relationship and the lessons learned from their time together. He noted that their separation was largely due to differences in personal outlook, adding that he prefers to take responsibility for failed relationships rather than allow resentment to linger.

The actor explained that he has no interest in cutting ties or avoiding individuals he once shared a close bond with, stressing that he would always acknowledge and greet an ex-partner if they met in public. According to him, holding grudges or acting distant is not part of his nature.

When asked directly about his current feelings for Yvonne Jegede, Fawole stated clearly that the romantic aspect of their relationship has ended. However, he emphasized that his sense of responsibility toward her has not changed, especially because she is the mother of his son.

He further added that if Yvonne were ever in danger, he would do everything within his capacity to ensure her safety, underscoring that his loyalty in that regard remains unwavering despite the end of their marriage.
