Sani Reacts As Gunmen Kidnap APC Organising Secretary In Kaduna

Kawu Yakassai, the Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, has been forcefully abducted by unknown gunmen.

The incident occurred in his hometown within the Soba Local Government Area, at around 9pm on a Friday evening.

At the current moment, the abductors have not established any form of communication with either the victim’s family or the leadership of the Kaduna State APC.

In response to the distressing event, Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, has expressed his strong condemnation of the abduction of the APC official. Through a concise statement conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Shehu, the governor has instructed law enforcement agencies to actively pursue the kidnappers and ensure the safe release of the abducted individual.

Furthermore, Governor Uba Sani has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and assets of all residents within the state.

He emphasized that his administration has undertaken measures to enhance security in Kaduna, including the engagement of 7,000 vigilant community members to work alongside traditional security forces in ensuring public safety.
