JUST IN: Tinubu Makes Appointments

President Bola Tinubu has made new appointments.

Mrs. Mojoyinoluwa Dekalu-Thomas has been appointed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company (NELMCO) by President Bola Tinubu.

According to a statement issued by Mr. Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the appointment is for a four-year term.

Dekalu-Thomas had been serving as the acting MD/CEO of NELMCO since the tenure of the pioneer MD/CEO, Mr. Adebayo Fagbemi, ended on May 8.

This promotion has resulted in a vacancy in her former role as Executive Director, Liability Management.

To fill this vacancy, President Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Dimla Nchinney as the substantive Executive Director, Liability Management within NELMCO.

Both appointments have taken immediate effect, as confirmed by the presidential spokesperson.
