Why I’m Not Concerned About Gumi’s Rantings Against Tinubu’s Government – Fani-Kayode Speaks

Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has stated that he is unfazed by Sheikh Ahmad Gumi’s criticisms of the government.

Fani-Kayode made this known in an audio recording he shared on his Facebook page on Sunday.

The outspoken former minister released the recording following Gumi’s controversial sermon, during which he referred to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as a “satanic person” due to alleged plans for collaboration with Israel concerning the security of the federal capital territory.

Gumi asserted that Muslims might face persecution if the FCT and Israel join forces. He also emphasized his concerns about entrusting Nigeria’s national security to Christians and Southerners.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode said: “I am not too concerned about the rantings of this little monkey against the government because there are many people that are in government that are paid to respond to him and handle that, and I am not in government.

“However, I am concerned about his rantings against the Christian community and against what I believe to be southerners generally, both Christian and Muslim.”
