AFCON: Kanu Sends Encouraging Message To Super Eagles Before Final Showdown With Ivory Coast

Both squads earned their places in the AFCON final after prevailing over South Africa and DR Congo, respectively, in the semi-final encounters held a few days ago.

Notably, the Super Eagles emerged triumphant with a 1-0 victory against Ivory Coast during their Group A encounter last month.

In a tweet posted on his official account ahead of the AFCON final, Kanu offered his support to Jose Peseiro’s team, urging them to defeat the Elephants.

“KAN U believe it? The atmosphere here at the AFCON is incredible just a few hours before the finals,” Kanu wrote.

“I wish Nigeria victory against the host country, Ivory Coast.

“Let’s go, Super Eagles!”
