According to Ireporter Online, streamer and content creator Carter Efe has publicly sought assistance in reconnecting with Afrobeats star Wizkid, expressing hope that the singer will eventually acknowledge him despite their past disagreements.

Carter Efe made the appeal while speaking to Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, requesting help in facilitating communication with the music star. He stated that his admiration for Wizkid remains strong and that his intention has always been to establish a direct connection with him.

He further explained that the controversy surrounding his 2022 tribute song “Machala” contributed to the strain in their relationship. According to him, Wizkid’s failure to acknowledge the track at the time led to emotional frustration, which influenced some of his past public reactions. He insisted that his actions were motivated more by admiration and the desire for recognition than by hostility.

In response, Sunday Are reportedly did not assure immediate access to Wizkid but advised Carter Efe to approach the situation with patience and maturity. The development comes as discussions continue around “Machala,” a viral track inspired by Wizkid’s widely known nickname that gained significant popularity across Nigeria and on digital platforms, despite the singer not publicly responding to the song or its creator.
