Led by the esteemed Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Yemi Cardoso, the 11-member Special Committee, comprising representatives from diverse Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, gathered to steer the implementation of this landmark initiative.

Scheduled for rollout on Monday, February 26, 2024, the program aims to empower underprivileged Nigerians by providing essential financial assistance for educational pursuits.

During the session, Governor Cardoso underscored the importance of leveraging collective expertise to ensure the success of the student loans scheme, highlighting its significance as a flagship project of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
